Is there a way to use the pack with just the shoulder straps? Best pack I own and love the storage but only walking a couple hundred yards to the deer stand don’t need the waist belt in the way

I know it will come up- no I don’t need the space but last weekend my 4 year old had two blankets in the stand plus toys. Be nice I grab one bag and go

No. If you disconnect the bag from the suspension, take a look and there is nothing there other than the attachment points for attaching the bag to the suspension.
Badlands or Tenzing or something along those lines in the 2,000 - 2,500 ci range may be a better option for walking in to the deer stand.
