My good friend has an elk tag for unit 10 as a non-resident. He's a disabled vet and has been looking forward to hunting the entire month chasing elk.
Turns out he's just been given a promotion and can't spend the whole month in October chasing bulls. In fact, he's now got the last week only.
I've offered to help any way I can and am hoping the good members here might clue me in a bit on this unit. I'm going to hunt with him that week, but it sounds like we're going to head up there blind.
Does anyone have any tips for this area? We hear that wolves are present, and we'll both have that tag as well.
