Idaho Spring bear

Hello, I am a 22 year old in shape guy looking to book a 2021 Spring bear spot and stalk hunt in Idaho with my dad. I am doing research everyday to gather intel on the hunt but was curious to talk to someone with experience. I am curious to what units are best for the hunt I am trying to plan. I would drive from where I reside in PA, park my truck at a trail head somewhere in the unit I am trying to hunt, backpack in and hunt until I get a bear. I have heard the terrain in Idaho is very grueling. If anyone can help me out with what unit is best, or anything like that please reach out! Thank you!

Interested in this topic. We hunted Montana in 2019, we saw a lot but didnt have much success. Be ready to glass and walk a lot.

We had both with us. If you have the area to glass, a spotter was gold. If it was more timbered, we didnt carry the weight of the spotter with us.
