IDFG is cutting a hundred doe/fawn antelope tags- saying that the summering herd on the Camas Prairie is not doing well. My wife and kids have shot 4 does in the last couple of years (great meat!) and we haven’t seen any population issues. They are moving the season back 3 weeks too. What are you guys seeing?

I get that way late summer and into elk season en route to where we elk hunt so I can't really speak to how the herds are year around but I do know that the traffic on highway 20 over the last year or two has exponentially increased. I wonder if there have been a lot of road kills that have contributed to this?

I'm seeing less and less antelope over the years.

I'm 100% certain it isn't a conspiracy to take away hunting opportunity so I guess we just gotta trust them that it's for the good of the herd.
