I foresee this thread getting messy.

kind of funny that the proposal does not recommend an increase for non-resident wolf tags
Residents be careful what you wish for, you might get it.
Colorado CPW chose to raise NR prices not once but basically every year. Each year NR revenue is a bigger percentage of the total money taken in. And guess what, no matter how much they take in, they can spend it all! Now they are addicted to NR money and can’t “afford” to reduce NR numbers because of the money they will lose.
So just remember each price increase for NRs makes it harder to limit their numbers.
As for me, I would chose to be limited in numbers because pricing people out of a western hunt just goes against what we should be doing. And with every price increase more and more are being priced out. No, not me, so guess I should be glad for that, but it just makes me sad.
I recon you do not take into consideration, state income. property taxes in your statement. Residency should have some benefits to those that call it home. support the local towns, schools, roads, ect…...The way I see it, if you can afford to hunt in the first place you can afford just about any reasonable fee increase, whether you like it or not.
I do believe that resident fees across the country should be raised also, they are wayyy too cheap for what you get for them.
Want to bet it will pass.It has to pass the legislature so I'm not worried it's even going to happen.
Idaho really should increase fees they are comparably cheap as a western state and have no draw so they are still going to sell out. They should also double second tag fees but that hits residents in to hard in the pocket book to even consider
