I discovered those while hunting in Canada a few years ago, they are awesome. Kinda spendy, but I always get a few each trip.

i think my wife buys them on sale at winco or fred myers for around a buck a bar. there about the main staple of my backpacking diet. these kind bars and peanut butter singles are pretty much all i eat. i was thinking about that yesterday and found it ironic that during hunting season a turn pretty much into a vegan.

Been using these since last summer scouting trips and agree they are awesome! I have found that these, plus peanut butter singles (have you tried the Jiff chocolate "silky" peanut butter or Justins hazelnut butter spreads?! AMAZING....) used as a dip for granola bars are really nice! For some better protein and fiber I started packing the soft packets of tuna + 10 triscuits for lunch really helped to break up the daily diet.
