Dumb question. Which cable do I twist ? My ATA is too long. I'm assuming it is NOT the cable near the timing marks

Is it the cable that wraps on the inside of the cam?

You’ll twist both cables equally and you’ll do it where it comes under the cam closest to the riser, not where it wraps around by the axle. Once you get it back to weight and close to A2A you may need to tweak your timing a little to get it back to even.

Yes, you can twist both cables equally, but that will also increase the draw weight and length. You could also twist the string.

Check all the specs, ata, brace and weight.

Twisting just the string will decrease draw length and also draw weight on a two cam bow. He’s trying to increase weight and shorten ATA which is best done with the cables. Twisting the string after to dial in draw length can be warranted in some cases.
