Not the native kind

I took hunter-ed courses and got my hunting license last fall.

I hunted 10 or 11 days. Went into woods rotating to different spots. Basically winging it. some days i didnt see a damn thing, not even a squirrel. i did end up seeing couple of does. finally, shot a buck, lost the blood trail after tracking for 9 hours in a span of 2 days. went home empty handed. it still stings to this day.

Hunted Turkey on opening day couple of weeks ago (may 1st), 3 hours into it, got my first turkey.
