Inreach Mini failed.

My garmin mini locked up after a few trips and wouldn't acquire satellites. I caught it at home and tried trouble shooting with garmin over the phone. No dice, they did send me a new one for free on overnight shipping ahead of a big trip so that was quite nice of them, replacement has worked great since then, but does make me worry a bit about another failure at time of critical need.

Nope, I babied this money pit and it shit the bed anyways. It still looks brand new.

Garmin CS walked me through a couple of reset attempts and then concluded it had reached the end of it's service life. No option but to toss this one and buy a new one. It worked fine throughout the season, but I went to check it before a snowshoe this weekend and no response...

I do have a 10-year old Etrex 20 that still works great though.

That’s BS. I’m still rocking the yellow Inreach/ pre Garmin. Guess I’m just really lucky. I’d think they would be a little more apt to fix it , to continue service contract
