I picked up a pair of Lowa Caminos this year that have been great so far. The factory footbed is pretty bad so I threw in a pair that came with my old Vasque boots pretty early on. I thought they worked fine but wanted to see what else is out there before our hunt in October. I went with the Superfeet Trailblazer. They are remarkably softer and cooler than what I had before, but I get the *slightest* bit of heel slip now no matter what socks or lacing method I use. It hasn’t been a problem yet but I haven’t had them on a hike longer than 4 miles, and that was on pretty even terrain. I’m wondering if this is going to be an issue and I should look for another set or if I should just rub some callouses now. Thoughts?

Give Lathrop and Sons a call. They're footbeds are pretty good and reasonably priced compared to some of the others. They can at least give you some good feedback if nothing else.

Cheers
