So is there any reason to go with the vented broadheads if (as the review states) the solids fly just as well, are just as durable, and are quieter?


In some instances "venting" can improve accuracy by replicating a more "field tip" like flight by reducing drag and tracking while the arrow is spinning. Venting has been used by many broad-head manufacturers as a way to improve accuracy.

That would be my guess.

Great review. Just switched to these heads, so I'll be shooting them this week for the first time.

One of the best(if not the best) broadhead I’ve ever used. Just make sure you get the solid vs. the vented. They’re much more quiet.

Great broad head! The solids are definitely quieter but both shoot great.
