So I’ve been talking to the guys at camera land like y’all told me to, and thank you for that they seem like good dudes. I’m trying to stay around $500 for a spotter and $400 for binos. Here’s where I’m asking your opinions,
Spotter
Hawke 15-45x60 30oz
Athlon Ares g2 15-45-65 50oz.
The only reason I’m considering the athlon is because it comes in a straight and the Hawke only comes angled.
Binos,
Athlon Cronus 8.5x42 32oz
Kowa bd2 10x42 22oz
GPO passion Ed 10x42 26oz
I appreciate any input.

I haven’t tried the Hawke, but the Athlon is a great scope!

After seeing Doug’s name pop up here multiple times I called him after it was apparent I wouldn’t get the back ordered swfa before hunting season. He was very nice to work with and I ended up ordering an Athlon Midas tac from him. I read as much as I could find on the scope and it was mostly very positive. Excited for it to get here.

Athlon is definitely a good bang for your buck. Have really liked the Argos hd spotter
