Still looking for a factory Tikka in said caliber. Saw one a year ago and can’t find any at all.
I am not sure if Tikka ever made a factory chambered 6.5x284. I bought a Superlite 6.5 creedmoor and sent it directly to my smith to ream it to 6.5x284. I bought a 270/30-06 magazine and did the long action bolt stop mod and have been good to go since. It is a great gun. My niece killed her first buck with it and then my brother in law put two of them together for her and her brother.

I saw one in a ad from Cabelas or some other outdoor store a few years ago. Could have been a misprint of course.

Some of the fast creed speeds come from pressures over 70 K. That is the only way you get those speeds from that case capacity.

You are correct. I cringe at some of the velocities stated for the Creed, especially the short barrels.
