Is the Kifaru Mountain Warrior going away?

I noticed on the Kifaru site that the Mountain Warrior pack is in the closeout section. Does anyone know if the MW is being dropped from the lineup? I currently have one and I can say that I really like the layout so it would be sad to see it go.

Rumor I read on here was that it was a cancelled military contract that left them with a surplus.

I want one for that closeout price but HQ won't budge after a Nightforce scope was just approved and I recently bought a Kifaru frame and Hoodlum with some accessories.

Bummed.

I tried to get one in CB at the closeout price and I waited too long, they are sold out. I love the MW.

The Mountain Warrior is one of their most underrated packs, I reckon. With all of Aron and Bender's ingenuity, new designs come and go ... but the MW remains.

Not sure if this has been covered in a recent thread, but the MW is not currently listed on Kifaru's site.

It is on Camofire today in Multicam for $216 ...
