Is this how Mountain Goat Taxidermy should look?

Can some people give their opinion on how this mountain goat taxidermy turned out? I haven’t looked at any other goat taxidermy this close to see if this is up to par. I’m not sure if the stitching should be this visible. You can also still see the hole behind its shoulder where it was shot. Just looking for some honest opinions from some people with experience or their own mounts.

Even with thin hair on the legs, are those lines typically completely hidden? I would at least think white thread would be used instead of that dark thread. And what would prevent it from being closed up right above the hoof?

Terrible, maybe a good taxidermist can fix that, $1300 is pretty cheap
Did you shop around or look at other people’s work ?
Did he ever mount a goat before? Some guys are good at deer, but can’t do a pronghorn
I had seen shoulder mounts for deer and elk that he had done, and I know he had done goats in the past but I didn’t get the chance to see any. Does anyone have photos of what the back of the legs should look like?

Hidden stitches, just a ruffled hair line would be museum quality work

I don’t have any goats, but easy to see the taxidermist did a shit job. I’d be pissed if I were you.
