ISO the best wood stove for a wall tent

No comparison. I set it on one burner down low and sleep all night. Wood stoves are for backpacking IMHO.

Are there any safety issues with these Nuway stoves? Asphyxiation or anything like that, how safe are they?

No...not really but just as a precaution I toss two Kidde Battery-Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarms in the tent at different heights. Do the same if using a Mr. Heater Buddy. Place the damper slightly higher than the center of the stovepipe between the stove and jack...about 65% is ideal. This holds the heat in considerably.

How quickly do you empty a 20 lb tank? Or how many tanks do you bring with you? Ha

A 20 (used only in the dark hours) is good for 17 days or more depending on ambient temps.
