J.B. Fields merino socks anyone try them?

I recently got a pair of Lowa Tibet’s Hi. I opted for the uninsulated version and now I’ve been looking at sock options to add warmth. My feet run hot I’ve been using the Costco merino socks and this years batch is pretty thin so I’m in the market for thicker merino socks so I picked up 2 pairs of smartwool mountaineer socks.
Then I came across a Canadian company JB fields that sell 70-79% merino socks in various weights for half the price of the big names (smartwool, darn tough, icebreaker). FYI I live in Canada and there doesn’t seem to be much reviews on this brand
Anyone try these socks out? How do they compare?
