Jason Peterson on Pursuit Channel

I saw on the Pursuit Channel that they were "Remembering Jason Peterson 1974-2018", but no details about what happened. I tried searching, but couldn't find anything. Can anyone provide info on his death? I have seen him and his shows on TV, but did not know anything happened to him until I saw the "Remembering Jason Peterson". Thanks..
