I remember a piece he wrote in a magazine years ago on one of those last page columns about his tree stand hunting routine. I could totally relate to it......up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, then lunch gone, then "cookie gone"........all by 9am.

hilarious, and it's the same for me without the treestand. Sucks when noon rolls around and lunch has been gone for 2 hours

I don't eat breakfast right after getting up, so my lunch is always gone by 0900 when hunting. And then I'm ready for my afternoon coffee, so then I also have real afternoon coffee as well around 1:30 or 2pm.

Dudes like 6' 3". Hard to fit in a shadow.


She had personality as well tho.

Really tho, good for them always seemed like a pretty genuine family. Jim's a businessman, but doesn't seem to have as big of an ego as a lot of people in his shoes, or knows how to restrain himself. I know a few guys who guided in sask around him, they didn't ever have anything bad to say about him and that was working for a competing guide service. I feel like that says a lot as well.

LOL! My 13 year old daughter idolizes Eva. Whenever Jim's show comes on, if Eva doesn't show up in the first 2 minutes, she loses interest.
