For those of you that do Facebook, his page is worth a follow.

And his Covid rants are kind of funny too.

And no need to post on here why you hate Facebook, part of me does too, but I sure see some cool stuff on Pages like his.

Love Jim's videos. Watched them all the time growing up with my dad. Friend of mine got on his show for his dad's moose hunt!

Don't have Facebook, but I have had some bourbon with the guy. Definitely interesting fellow.

Loved the shows that he use to do with his dad.

Hal- I took half a Viagra this morning

Jim- Why did you do that dad?

Hal- Keeps me from pissing in my boots.

Or something close to that.

I remember a piece he wrote in a magazine years ago on one of those last page columns about his tree stand hunting routine. I could totally relate to it......up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down, then lunch gone, then "cookie gone"........all by 9am. (y)

hilarious, and it's the same for me without the treestand. Sucks when noon rolls around and lunch has been gone for 2 hours

I don't eat breakfast right after getting up, so my lunch is always gone by 0900 when hunting. And then I'm ready for my afternoon coffee, so then I also have real afternoon coffee as well around 1:30 or 2pm.

Ha ha. I think it’s because Jim actually lives in the shadow of Eva now

Dudes like 6' 3". Hard to fit in a shadow.

She had personality as well tho.

Really tho, good for them always seemed like a pretty genuine family. Jim's a businessman, but doesn't seem to have as big of an ego as a lot of people in his shoes, or knows how to restrain himself. I know a few guys who guided in sask around him, they didn't ever have anything bad to say about him and that was working for a competing guide service. I feel like that says a lot as well.

Love Jim Shockey. Some of the things he's seen around the world hunting have to be just amazing. This is one guy that I would love to sit down with & just listen to all his stories..

I've never heard of this Jim guy, is he related to the good looking gal from Canada that hunts... I think her name is Eva?
LOL! My 13 year old daughter idolizes Eva. Whenever Jim's show comes on, if Eva doesn't show up in the first 2 minutes, she loses interest.
