Jim White 2.0 Lightweight Handle

I like the smaller diameter, longer handle of the micro and decided to see what I could do with the JW. Using delrin and aluminum I was able to shave 1.2 ounces off the weight of a Jim White head.

Looks great! I made a few out of carbon tubing but I used epoxy and they were not that durable after being in the AZ heat. Yours looks very durable.

The handle is tapped and pinned so I don't think it's gonna move. I could see aluminum stripping if you were to get rough with it but it doesn't need to be tight at all to keep the head from moving.

Oh, the handle is hollow too.

That should work! I thought about that after I built a couple but the CF stretches even with a pin after awhile Delrin is much more solid. I was made all of mine with hand tools and a belt sander having a lathe is awesome.
