Kansas Antelope

The 2019 season will be my second season of archery antelope hunting in Kansas, came close last year, any helpful tips out there?

How did you come close? What was the difference in killing an antelope vs not killing an antelope? Glassing them and watching where they cross fences can be beneficial because they cross fences by going underneath the wires as opposed to jumping over. If you can find where they cross with some sort of terrain feature or an H-Brace with some tumbleweeds hung up in them could allow you to hide in there.

Crawled to 70 yards with decoy. Just could' get to were i felt comfortable.
i also tried water holes but was just to much water.

The decoy thing worked for me the first 3 days of the season but after that it typically just runs them off. Have a buddy sit behind you 60 yards or so with a decoy or flagging to bring them in. Maybe a Moo Cow decoy could work but not sure. Sitting water is tough like you said because every pasture has a windmill in it.

2019 will be my first year hunting Kansas antelope. So I have no advise but good luck.
