Kelty External Frame

Guys,

I have been messing around with different modifications to surplus military packs and just can’t get them to work. I am thinking about switching to looking for a Kelty External frame pack. I am not interested in purchasing any of the high end packs because I won’t be able to hunt out west but every two years or so. Does anyone have a model that I should look into? I will be truck camping mainly but will do a few overnights if the conditions warrant it. I also did purchase a HPG Prairie belt that I like a lot.....just Incase that might add some comfort to the frame.

The Kelty Cache Hauler can be a very comfortable pack with heavy loads. I think another brand may be making that pack under license now.
