Kentucky Elk Unit five

So one of my best buddies drew a KY elk tag for unit five week two firearm this year. He is doing it all DIY. On a normal year I'd be packing up and heading out with him, but due to my wedding, other conflicting events, and minimal vacation to burn, I just cant swing it. Pretty big bummer considering the odds of drawing the tag, and what will probably be the only opportunity I'll get to chase elk in KY. I made this post to see if anyone has drawn this tag in the past, and would be willing to share some info about the unit that I could relay or possibly a connection to line him up with to see what he'll be getting into.
