Quarantine has given me some extra time to spend behind the old sewing machine. Decided to try making a kid carrier for my Kifaru duplex frame. Pretty happy with the result. A few changes I’d make down the road, but the kiddo enjoyed it today as we searched for some turkeys on our walk!

Nice, I've been contemplating this concept. I want to be able to carry the kid and full kit, which is not possible with my Osprey kid carrier.

Thats great! I was just talking to a friend about an attachment to a meat hauler pack. Nice sewing job.

Great job. You could make the seat height adjustable, and move the kiddo higher so they can be forward facing. I cannibalized an old kelty kid carrier an attached it to a duplex years ago with my first kid. Worked great. On my 3rd kid now and we lucked into a free osprey kid carrier. It is nice but does not carry they weight nearly as well as the kifaru frame.
