Ok so I’m planning on buying one of the two this spring and can’t decide between the two.

First:
I’m aware they’re both slim and low capacity
And
I’ve owned the Zippy, and while it was a fantastic pack it was a little too big for just carrying on day hikes. I pack pretty light.

I really like the stays and waistbelt option on the DG, and I like the expand ability of the quandary.

I pack really light in the summer and can do a two day backpacking hike with only 16 liters, so the stays and waistbelt have a lot of appeal to me.
And the expandability of the quandary looks like it’ll give me more flexibility.

So, does anyone have experience with both? Which do you recommend over the other?

The door gunner is a great pack. With the added waist belt you won’t be second guessing your choice

i wasnt a huge fan of the roll top on the quandary and i always had things poking me in the back. the door gunner is awesome. and can also add belt pouches for gadgets or snacks
