Is this the 1st or 2nd generation?

That’s the second generation. Has larger side and back pockets and no snow collar to extend.

Thank you mrbill. With no snow collar does that mean the bag has less cubic inch capacity than the original or did they widen the bag with the larger pockets to make up the difference?

Both the main bag and the side pockets gained a little space in the newer version. Overall bag circumference is a hair bigger than the original version. The biggest advantage came from the size improvements not stealing space from the each other.

It was listed as a 7200ci pack.
