Sale Pending.
NOW- $800.00 net of fees & shipping for rifle--scope sold.
Kimber 8400 Montana 338WM with scope. This rifle does NOT have a threaded barrel. The gun and scope were purchased new and I am the original owner. I have the scope and rifle box and will send them if buyer wants. The rifle is in original condition and has a 26" barrel. I believe the rifle is about eight years old. I have the paperwork but I am not able to locate it at this moment.
I'll include 2 full boxes of factory loads in 225 gr. Nosler Accubond with same lot #, a couple of loose cartridges (210 gr.), a nylon barrel brush and a cleaning jag.
If I remember correctly I shot groups about 1.5 inches but I haven't shot the rifle in quite a while.
This rifle is light and has pretty stout recoil so if you are recoil sensitive it is likely not for you. You could do a new recoil pad I guess but I simply shot it as original. I shot one elk with it and that was the only hunt I have taken rifle on. Gun & scope are in very good condition.
I want to net $1,200.00 from the sale. I do not believe Kimber produces this caliber for the Montana now but I do believe they made one with a threaded barrel for a couple of years.
I am not looking for any trades. Funds must be liquid befor gun ships. I will certainly look at offers-I have not been able to locate any sales to base a price on so I am at $1,200.00 to me (or $900.00 for rifle without scope) with buyers paying shipping etc.
Thanks!
