Kimber thread protector ?

looking for a thread protector fir my Mtn ascent 270 wsm. Kimber doesn’t have any on there website. Is there an alternative. I can’t seem to find any 7/16 thread ones.

I'd call them, anytime I've needed a kimber part their staff have been super helpful (despite reports of poor cs) and gotten whatever was needed.

I had the Adirondack , never liked the way the knurled protector looked on the barrel. I do have a machine lathe. I ended up making a couple that were the same diameter as the barrel , that extended a few thousands beyond the rifling for protection, And were stainless. Though that stainless color of Kimber is a hard match.

Looks good badge171. I don’t like the stock one either. That’s why I was kinda looking for other options
