We flew Vertigo air to the south of Kodiak island and spent 9 days and 8 nights. It was amazing. We saw deer everyday. We saw reindeer just the first couple of days. We saw no bear, but there was sign everywhere on the little creeks the salmon were running in.

We switched from a planned Brooks/North slope DIY to this hunt only days before. So, with any planning you can do it if you are prepared for the utterly exhausting hikes. Its one of those places that it can take hours to go a mile.
We shot 2 reindeer and 3 bucks. Tags are OTC. There is a FG there to buy tags and license.
