Kodiak public use cabins

Anybody ever hunt out of a public use cabin on Kodiak? I’d like to get to Kodiak this year and a cabin seems very feasible. What concerns me is how hard they probably get hunted. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I’ve looked into transporters as well. Thank you.

I’ve never been so this is all what I’ve gathered reading/watching anything about hunting in Alaska. But depending on when you are there will dictate if your hunting near the cabin headed up to the tree line.

But I’m in for more info.

I imagine most of the areas “close” to cabins get hit hard, I’m just curious about the hunting near them. I can hike miles away if need be. Just looking for input guys. And maybe a partner because as of right now my buddies are tied up this fall with other obligations.
