Nice little scope. I have one with the 20-60x eye piece and cover I may sell if you decide on it. It’s about 33oz with my tripod plate.

I’ve been looking at this scope as well. Mainly because of the eyepiece options. Anything you would compare it too? I currently have the 65mm vanguard. I’d really like a 66mm kowa, but it’s quite abit more.

I have a 602 and I like it a lot. With good atmospheric conditions you get a pretty clean view even at 60x. Have not compared it to much. It’s an awesome value for price/weight/image quality especially if you can get a used one. I thought it was better than the Leupold 15-40(?)x60 non hd that I’ve used.

I have not had it next to anything else. I had the 50mm vortex but the lower magnification bothered me in a spotter. The low light performance was also annoying so I decided to try the 60mm. I have not used it much yet though so I don’t have a good review to offer. Off my back porch so far I think I like it better than the vortex.

You can also get a 30x wide for it which gives a really nice, bright image with good FOV. I went with the 20-60 because I wanted that too end mag range for field judging. If you were going to do more looking for game with the spotter, 30x would be awesome. I have 15s so I am using it mainly for field judging. The 30x has slightly better FOV than the 20x in the 20-60x eyepiece, it’s bright, and great image quality.

I use a 601 with a 30x WA. It's a handy package for a great price that I don't mind schlepping around the field. I'm not a trophy hunter - I use it for locating not judging and works just great for that.

That’s the setup I was think of going with. I still think I may save up and go with the 66 though. The vanguard works for now

Don't think you will gain much with 66, had both 601, 66mm and swaro 65hd, only have 601 now

I've got the 66mm Kowa with 30x WA eyepiece, and it's extremely clear and comfortable to look through. I would save for the 66 if I was you.

I’m surprised there’s not more love for the 600 series. It’s a great balance between cost, weight, and quality.
