These were just released it looks like yesterday. The ferrules are slotted for bleeders.

Any insiders tested these? Really considering them in 125 grain. I love my Contour 100s but if all else is equal (or as close to it as it can be) with bleeders, I'll go that route.

Im interested as well, I have shot the 125 contour for a couple years and really like them. Im curious if cutting that slot in the ferrule will weaken it enough to cause any concern.

I received the two packs I ordered last night, I have not shot them yet. The bleeder blades are beveled at the same angle as the main body. My concern was how much integrity was going to be lost by notching out the ferrule for the bleeder blade. After looking at them I don’t think it will cause any issue at all.

I have not had any issues with bending or curling with the 125 grain head. That being said I’ve only shot them into foam and 2 mule deer and 1 elk so they better not bend or curl. I shot this little buck at 33 yards quaterining away downhill. 28” draw 55lbs 450 grain arrow. It entered behind the shoulder and exited in front of the offside shoulder and buried into a log. I could still shave hair on my arm with it.

Well I just placed an order for 6 of the 125 grain heads.

The single bevel bleeders made me do it.

I bought a pack of these from my local shop last Friday, and shot last night. They flew with my field points out to 70. I also intentionally put one into the dirt to test durability, it looks nearly new and I followed up with two more shots at 60 to see if anything bent, and it still flew with my field points.

I was hesitant to commit to Kudu before this bleeder addition, but now I'm sold. My quiver will be filled with them this year.

This is a great test, thanks for the info! I'm also a 55lb. draw @ 28" so it's nice to have a comparable reference

I finally had some time to shoot my 125gr heads at 70 yards and made a short video on them. Nothing glamorous but you get the idea, I'm not going to bore anyone with specs they can easily look up online. I ended up using the wrong pin for my first shot and hit a knot in the wooden frame of my target stand. Head was unphased, still hunting sharp and I shot it the rest of the night without any issue. I was consistently shooting 6" groups at 70 yards with them, so they'll be in my quiver this fall. I'm running 28.75" draw, 61lbs, 447 grain arrow.

Great video! I never get tired of slow-motion long-range shots. Did you index all of the main blades vertically?
Thanks, and no I don't index. I just thread them on and go. I think it speaks volumes for the tolerances of a head to be able to do so. I've had to nock tune other heads like Slick Tricks which I fought all last year with, but to thread on these things and go, it's pretty impressive.

Impossible!!!;)

WB’s aren’t capable, haha

great shooting. I have always liked kudu, and they are made local. I have seen the operation, and it’s crazy the quality vs price.

planned on iron will again this year but the new kudu fixed what I didn’t like about them. Would still prefer a double bevel option, but it’s not a deal breaker

They get a rash of crap, but you can't argue repeatable positive results with zero moving parts.

I'm a single bevel guy, so it is what it is for me. Hoping to put one of these in an elk this year.
