Kuiu Alpine Pants

Everyone I know who has used or had a pair of these pants, absolutely loves them. Kuiu stopped making them and there isn't anything comparable. My guess is they were too good and almost indestructible. I have 6 years of sheep hunts on my only pair and there isn't a single snag or hole. I wish they'd make them again, or some other company would get tgat same 4 way stretch Toray fabric and make some.

About the only thing lacking was no DWR. A quick wash in Nikwax fixed that. The zippered front pockets were great and as long as you remembered to zip them you didn't lose anything. Somewhere in between a Kutana and Attack fabric weight/temp wise and far more durable than the Attack. I thought they were a better pant than the Attack but with the knee pads mby not as versatile (style wise) for everyday wear? I always forget that I own a pair. I need to get them out of the closet, back into the active clothing bin and remember to wear them when the temps drop.
