Kuiu base layers Colorado rifle-October

Hello! I will be doing a Colorado rifle elk hunt in Colorado this year. Wondering what kuiu base layers you would go with and why? I’m having trouble choosing between the peloton and the Ultra merino bottoms. Not sure what is warmer and what isn’t out of the bunch. Thanks!

I have the merino wool zip-offs in 145 and 200 weight and I love them! They are warm, they stay fairly odor free and the best thing... as the morning warms up, you don't have to take off your boots to take them off!
