I really like my Kuiu pack (the newer pro suspension) with the exception of the hip belt not curving in enough at the top to grip my hips when loaded heavy. The bottom of the belt grips fine but I can fit my fingers in from the top and touch my hip bones when it's really cranked down. You can somewhat manually tighten just the top by holding the buckle and lower webbing while tightening but with no way to lock it in it doesn't stay that way for long. Has anyone tried to modify the buckle to allow more top/bottom adjustment?
Maybe a triglide on the lower part before the buckle to stop the lower from tightening and force the top inward? Or a different buckle that can lock the lower tension and allow the upper to adjust?
Compared to the Seek Outside which has much more top/bottom adjustment:
