I'm always looking for wide sleeping bags.

I'm not great at sleeping like a mummy!

Being able to zip two bags together would also be a real great bonus for family camping, to.

Second for Wiggys long/wide bags....even the mummy cuts have good room but they make rectangular as has been posted.

went through the struggle too, switched to a quilt...
Could work for me, but not the wife and kids. Not if cold. I see slot of people getting chuffed about the Kifaru quilt. On the warmer nights I usually just open up my bag and lie in/on top of it.

I have a Slumberjack rectangular bag that I've had since the 80's. It fits perfectly on top of my 40"x86" cot. It's the most comfortable sleeping bag I've ever used......even after 30+ years. Perfect for wall tent camping.

I chose Wiggy's for wet environs (despite their bulk and weight penalty) because of this video:

For everything else i use an EE -10* Conundrum quilt with collar, 959 fill and a heavy Hoodlum. Works for all temps below 50* cuz I can vent it.
