With your help, I have tracked down two of the three articles written by Jay Mellon on his Asiatic hunts and I am eternally grateful. The only one I am still missing is titled "The Great Argali Chase" and it appeared in the Dec 1968 issue of Outdoor Life. (Pic attached). If by any chance you have that issue, please send me a PM.
