This is a better pic as I could sit closer.

Worth more than my last three trucks

Congrats, Robby. I wouldn't taken him in a second. I was guessing more like 27-28" wide from looking at the pictures. Nice buck.

I'm pretty sure I know where you guys are at. If so, that's a good buck for the area. I ran into a guy in a nearby town and he couldn't get in muzzie range of a big buck there last week. I was cow elk hunting with a buddy fairly close by and seeing lots of deer up high at 7,500 feet+.

Yes the genetics for this area are pretty bad. If you look further up the thread and see that buck that Corey killed a couple years ago, it’s probably one of the better ones to ever come off of this hunt. But for finding lots of deer and it’s a good time.

Video shows a buck Cory passed up a stalk on. He's a decent-for-the unit buck. If you look close, he's very skinny from rutting. That is how my buck looked last night.

Some slow daytime rutting activity going on with the calm weather. We think the older bucks are hitting these doe groups at night and resting for a portion of the day. Just a guess. We saw 53 deer including and 6 bucks this afternoon for a total of 76 deer and 10 bucks for the day.

Corey is trying to decide whether to stalk this buck or not. He’s probably about 160, clean four-point. Nice buck. The best thing about him we got his home address. We followed him with the optics to his bed.

He’s already got his stalk route all mapped out

Corey passed on that buck. So we’re looking for another one

This @Outdoorsmans Micropan on their window mount actually handles the Swaro’ BTX as its pretty balanced.

I do have to sit on a pillow or tip the drivers side off the road shoulder to get the right angle to glass as the BTX is like an angled spotter. Other than that, it’s a good combo.
