late season NEB turkey

due to conlflicts we wont be making our annual NEB turkey trip unill late may this year. we normaly go bow season. so my question is , any advice for those call leery,sketchy late season birds? most of you NEB guys are propably tagged out by then,but some local wisdom would be appreciated.

I like late season. I am on private ground but normally don't even head out until late April with the bow. Hens have disappeared and tom are really searching. I have seen them cover over a few miles in a couple hours.

I think you guys will do great.
