Leather work project anybody on here

I’m looking for somebody who does leather work. I have a really small problem and was going to attempt on my own and then thought about personalizing it a bit. I have a horn hunter bino case I have used for over 10 years but it’s coming apart. The back of the harness has a rubber piece that holds the straps together and I’m hoping to get a leather cutout to match and have a Large M stamped on it to personalize it a little.

Local craft store, piece of saddle leather,use old piece for pattern, also in the leather craft section they have leather stamps.

How big an “M”. Stamps arent usually very big. You may be into carving if you want it big. Those letters in your pics are probably 1 inch high, max. Tandy leather catalogue or a craft shop will have stamps for cheap and also probably pieces of small scrap leather That you can use to make it for DIY project so you don’t have to buy a side. you can cut it out with exacto knives and finish it with some stain and waterproofing. You may also want a tool to roll/finish the edges. PM me if you can’t find some leather, I have a stash of scraps I can probably dig up Something from.
