Like new Leica Ultravid 12x50 HD with perfect glass! Have been used very little are basically brand new. These are just as good as my Swarovski’s If not better in low light applications. Looking to sell to fund some projects that came up. Outdoorsman stud included. If you have any questions feel free to message me. $1600

What’s the difference between hd and hd plus?

HT glass and 2-3% light transmission....but nobody has yet to ever physically see a difference. They are so identical in every condition it’s almost as if Leica just decided to say Plus for the sales aspect. With that said, they are phenomenal glass!!

Realistically, just who could tell a 2 or 3% difference in glass quality? No human eyes on this planet, and it only takes place in a lab...and even then just barely.

Yeah that’s very true. Very good glass still for sale!

Apparently the guys who spend $2,000-3000 can see the 2-3% difference. That’s why I have gone with meopta hd and can buy brand new for around 1,000-1,2000 and register with a good warranty. Probably a 2-3% difference. Some might say a 5% difference. Not sure how they do the mathematical equation though.

Yeah, it would be very though to tell the difference. Just comes down to personal preference and what you can afford. I’m thinking you need a pair of Leicas to really but them to a side by side test!

Do you have the original box and warranty card? How good is the warranty on these if transferred to a new buyer?

I have a pr of the Leica Ultravid HD's in 7x42 so I know the quality of the lenses AND the overall build and I will say they are outstanding and when I bought a new pr of the 10x42 Swaro SLC Hd's I was somewhat disappointed and when I bought a new pr of Swaro EL 12x50 HD's I was even more disappointed. I had gotten accustomed to the better color rendition and different lense curvature of the Leica which gives a whole different view. I have since gotten to like the SLC but really haven't used the EL very much since purchase but will admit I have thought REALLY HARD about purchasing these Leica 12x50's. Im not a real fan of the EL field flattener lenses but guess I need to get accustomed to them. The binos offered here will make anyone very happy.

I have the same pair. Great glass. Especially when paired with the Outdoorsman stud and tripod. Very comfortable when using offhand too.
