Leica Ultravid HD Plus Bino Stud

Hello,

I just upgraded my binos from razors to the Leica Ultravid Plus in 10x42. I had the Outdoorsman bino stud and adapter for the razor and loved the system. Just went to order one for the Leica's and on the website it said it does not fit the "plus" models. I would like to stick with this system and not go to the bino hand or ring adapter system if there is an alternative. Does anybody run these have any advice to offer? Thanks in advance.

I would call Outdoorsmans and talk to them about it. They will find a solution. On the Swarovski EL's they custom install the studs.

I’m pretty sure they have one. My HD and 2012-2015 Trinovids had a slip over design with set screw. I thought I’ve seen one that was a threaded cap that was for the UV HD+.

Call them tomorrow. I bet if you search here you’ll find it too.

They have the HD plus model! I had one on a pair of 10x50 HD Plus last year!!!! Easy installation! Just pop off the rubber cap at the end of the hinge! Hopefully they still have some in stock! They did last year

That’s the same setup I have for UV HD and Trinovids.

Well it works just fine on the plus model!
