Headed to Cuba on a fly fishing trip next month and thinking about photography. I have an Olympus waterproof point/shoot that I will bring but also thinking about bringing my daughters DSLR (Nikon D3400). The camera came with a Nikon DX 18-55 lens.
Question - would it be worth it to buy a new lens, and if so can anyone help with recommendation? Obviously looking for something that will be good for outdoor, ocean flats landscape, portrait/fish shots, etc.

A great all around lens without breaking the bank, would be the Tamron 18-200. Gives you wide angle and telephoto. Perfect for most photos you will be taking. The Olympus, if it's a later model, can be used for the macro shots you may want to take, though the Tamron is pretty good there as well

Feel free to call me between 9-6 with any questions
