I just picked up a 375 Ruger, just because . Should probably go shoot a Brown Bear with it, maybe this spring…. Will have to decide on a load, I’ll have to post a picture later

Its an LKM70 mauser style barreled action, with NEG open sights, McMillan Stock, Talley bases / QD rings & Cerekoted. Its was my take on utilitarian rifle!

Thank ya! Iv actually been debating having it checkered, it’s a tough decision lol.

I have another that I pack pretty regularly on nice days, a 9.5x57 (aka .375 rimless nitro express). It’s the cartridge on the far left.

Had been thinking about one for a bit, especially after going to Africa. Would go well with brown bear as well. Found what I wanted used at the local gun shop! I like this one pre- muzzle break and old stock style


Now to get a scope and work on a load

Built this one about 10 years ago for a friend. .375 Ruger. Commercial Mauser action and bottom metal (holds 3 down), 21" Douglas barrel, English walnut stock done by me from the blank, Timney trigger, 2 pos Wisner safety, steel Biesen grip cap. Got the stock blank from Cecil Fredi. Checkered by Joel Schafer (now retired, but he was one of the best).



.375 H&H Flanged Magnum barrel set on a Valmet 412S. Originally was a .375 Winchester barrel set a previous owner reamed to .375 JDJ, and I reamed it to FL Mag. Runs about 100fps slower than the belted mag velocities. Also have 30-06 and 12ga barrel sets. Really fun setup.

Nothing special, just a CRF M70 Classic Stainless chambered in .375 H&H mag. It’s tagged it’s fair share of big game though.

I have a stainless classic 375 also. I killed a nice bear with it and a moose a few weeks back. I have a Vx3i 2.5-8 on it but I’d like to switch to a 1.5-5.

I am a big fan of the .375 caliber. I have some in H&H also.
Hand-loads will 270 grain Barnes TSX have worked very well on moose.

Don't see the Steyr very often. I built a .376 on a medium length Yugo action for a fellow in Texas as a hog swatter. 18" barrel, Boyds stock. Just a simple utility rifle.

Great rifles guys! I can only imagine the stories that go with each one.

This was my first attempt into the .375 world, so far I m happy with the outcome.
Finished weight came in right at 10# as it sits,

I want to work on the follower and spring still in the box mag. So far it seem to shoot nice and fits me really well. I enjoy it a lot.

I use the vx3 1.75-6 with a heavy duplex on my .375, not very good for anything long range, but inside my 250 yards I sure like it.
