Im going to be trading in my 2010 F150 supercab very soon for something with a little more room in the back that I can still use for a hunting/camping truck, possibly for this. Im leaning towards a 2016 crew cab F150 with the 2.7, vinly floor, leveled, wheels and tires, and the factory rear locker make me think it will be great for a multi-purpose truck.
So lets see everyone elses hunting and/or daily driver rigs. Pics of things you did to it, mods, additions, ect.1152782301.jpg

You will get lots of opinions on vehicles but FYI. I am on my 3rd F150 without a shop visit. Love them. My hunting buddy just got his third one also with the 2.7. Can't pull anything. The dealer just had the engine out for the 3rd time in 1st 30K. Main seal leaks, warped heads etc. That engine needs to mature a while. A seasoned FORD mechanic said get the 5 liter. Tried and true. that said all 3 of mine were 3.7 EcoBoost with zero issues.

I love our truck and we used it hunting for a few years but did some damage to the rocker panel this summer driving in some tight quarters. Otherwise it just chugs along with the best of them

Spent the last few years driving west in the Jeep solo, but she crapped her transmission out on the freeway along with the front drive shaft. After Jeep dicked me around about covering the issues I went back to Ford. I do miss the Jeep at times, but man the Ford rides toooo smooth.

3rd one to chime in for the 5.0. I’ve got one and it’s been great. A fella I know, who is also a Ford Mechanic, said the 5.0 was his favorite engine to work on in the newer F150’s. Simple and reliable.

My daily driver (minus the roof top tent) is a 2001 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 with a supecharger and rear locker. I only have 308k miles on it with a new Toyota transmission put in at 300k miles. I plan to drive the wheels off of it. The rig is setup nice and goes anywhere I point it.
