I'm gonna have to get one just to compare...the Leupold is stupid nice, but it would be nice to drop 1/2 a pound off the rifle and recoup $1k+.
You can get mk5hd for 1400ish and the razor hd lht for 850 or so. 6oz can be noticeable, however ones a ffp with great turrets, lots of vertical adjustment, proven design. The razor arguably has better glass, and is lighter. That's the only real place the razor wins.

I originally started my own thread for this rifle cause I was so proud of it, but now that I’ve shot it a little I’ll just post an update here. I could only find two boxes of Hornady American Whitetail ammo but I knew it would work for the first range trip. Eventually I’ll get time to reload, and maybe get to shoot at home where I’m not getting peppered with hot brass by the guy to my left that’s dumping 30 round mags with his AR. But within the first 10 rounds I shot this group and I couldn’t be happier.

24in sendero from Carbon Six chambered in 25-06 sitting in a McMillan HTG. And I’ve got a Leupold 2-12x42 on top.

I like that a lot, I’ve got a superlite 6.5creed that is like to do something like that with.

Nice! Who's doing the inletting on the AG Alpine Hunter stocks for tikkas?
I do believe Mike Johnson at hells canyon armory has exclusive rights to distribution of the Tikka alpine hunter inlet. He said something to that degree in our conversation a while back when I ordered mine. @HellsCanyon is that still the case?

Re-do on my Tikka 7SAUM. When the Smith lies about a bunch of shit and won't do as you asked then calls you an Asshole you return thier shit and move on. Also changed to a MBM TI Beast self timer. Mike @ Hell's Canyon Armory killed it. Huge shout out to Mike.

Man I'm considering a 3-15x50 LHT just because I like the G4...for a rifle that already has a 3.6-18x44 Mark 5HD on it. I'm wondering if the glass is close enough to make the 50mm a benefit in low light over the 44mm HD.
I seriously love my 3-15×42LHT. Have put 500 rounds through my 6.5prc with it mounted and I'm sold. Have taken some last light shots over 400m and have been pleasantly surprised with the resolution and amount of light transmitted.

Here is the evolution of my Tikka T3 7mm08. Purchased in 2016 it was originally a Tikka Laminate but after one range session I sold the laminate stock as I hated the ergonomics. I then put it into a GRS Berserk stock which had fantastic ergonomics, but just had way too much flex in the forend. During this switch I installed a long action bolt stop and started using a LA magazine, while also changing from DNZ rings to Burris XTR Signature rings. Hating the flex it got transferred into a KRG Bravo and the barrel cut back to 18" which I loved but was unable to find 5rd magazines for so it was short lived in that stock. I then traded some things for a T3X lite stock and decided to keep things simple after that. The stock was painted, HVH bottom installed, carbon fibre and titanium bolt handle, sportsmatch rings, swfa 10x, trigger spring modification and also installed a rail for the atlas bipod.
Overall I've come full circle in this rifle but it has proven to me that the factory t3x stock is one of the best all around options on the market at the moment.

Jacob196 I handled a tikka in a wildcat composite stock and it’s is hands down a better sporter stock than factory.

Unfortunately we don't get those kind of nice things here in Aus :( value for money the tikka t3x stock with vertical grip is excellent.
