I just picked up a Tikka T3x TAC A1 in 308win.

It’s a possibly a hunting rifle that I just wanna learn how to reach out effectively with it which is why the 308cal.

Where do you guys go to get clips and accessories for your Tikka‘s?

Gotcha if it uses the ctr magazine I believe that's your only option u less you swap out the bottom metal
I buy tikka parts from midwest gunworks they're typically the best price.

Not one to preach semantics but using the term “clip” for a magazine is a faux pas. Only people like Nancy Pelosi and Bruce Springsteen call them clips. It’s a magazine or magazines.

No problem I'm a bowhunter as well. I used to shoot 3D and target archery. I got the long distance hunting, reloading ammo bug and now my bow sits a lot more these days. If you want the ultimate shooting experience, reloading your ammo is where it is at.

Yeah. My buddy is all about reloading and has all the best equipment.

I made 100 rounds of 308 in 3 grain increment to see what loads this tikka will like best. But I don’t think I’ll be doing it in the future. He’s trying to shoot out to a mile or more I would just like to be efficient at 500 to 700 yards so an elk at 300 becomes a chip shot. Don’t know if I’ll go to rifle hunting but so far my compound bow hasn’t put too much elk meat in the freezer

Here is mine. My coyote gun .243. Tikka action in a XLR chassis. Proof barrel.

Got a barreled action done. Still looking at stocks and trying to decide on a scope since I can't find a NXS compact. Trying to stay light on this one so the suppressor doesn't make it too heavy.

McGowen 20" barrel. Copied the stock barrel contour with a slight flare for 5/8x24 threads. Custom chambered in 7 SAUM for 175 ELD-x. Mt Tactical trigger spring.

This was going to be a donor for a 7saum but I think I'll keep this one as is.
T3x from bass pro- I think it wad called a d18? Had a camo dipped stock and tungsten cerakote.

They make steel rifle barrels and the blanks for carbon six carbon barrels. Quite a few prefit options with a fairly extensive library of reamers on hand. I've had a couple with another on the way all have been good shooters.
