Leupold cds g1 or g7

What bc are you guys using on your leupold cds form when ordering it? The g1 or g7

do I put both on the form when ordering?
A little confused on the bc

Doesn't matter which you use, but you use just one. For a boat tail, G7 should be more accurate at distance.

You need to verify your drops before ordering the turret and match the ballistic curve to those under the conditions you will hunt in (temp elevation pressure) using whichever BC you want. To match the curve to your in field drops, you can either adjust the muzzle velocity or the BC of the bullet (or both). Keep in mind that the actual BC depends on your rifle/load combo. It might match the box, or might not. You have to true the curve to your in field data.

That will be the most accurate method but you may need to adjust a little if conditions change when you are in the field.

On my one CDS scope, I called Leupold and ordered an MOA turret. Between that my rangefinder, phone and dope card, I'm good. It's just easier to skip the dedicated knob, IMO.
