Correct, though if you research it, "HD" is more a marketing term than anything else. The glass elements are the same between both the HD and non-HD versions. The difference is a coating put on the outermost element ("DiamondCoat 2"). I'm sure it does something; probably helping somewhat with chromatic aberration, but that's how they justify branding it "HD" and ask an additional $130.
