I use a Slik Sprint Pro II with the 704e 3way pan head for everything including high country or packing in. It is slightly over 2 lbs with the head and is $74 on Amazon. I run it currently with a Razor 20-60x85 and it handles it pretty well sitting and glassing. Standing would be a little different. I plan on going lighter on the scope hopefully soon. I know it will handle a swaro 65mm just fine being that it is a pound lighter than my Razor. I made a light stainless shooting rest that screws on to the tripod and covered it with heat shrink tubing. It weighs less than 1 oz.
You wouldn’t by chance want to post a pic of this little device would you? The rest that is.

I bought an Oben CT-3535 with an included ball head last fall for $180. It is short and weighs 2 pounds 6ounces. It worked well for me with binoculars, spotting scope and camera. I even hooked it up to a rifle while predator hunting.
